Accountant – Full Cycle (Hybrid, Riga)

About the role

The Accountant will be responsible for the accurate and timely execution of full‑cycle accounting processes for the Austrian entity, operating from Riga in a hybrid work model. The role ensures high‑quality financial information for both the local company and the Group, adhering to internal policies and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end accounts payable, including vendor invoice processing, three‑way matching, payment runs and vendor reconciliations.
• Own end‑to‑end accounts receivable, covering customer invoicing, cash application, collections follow‑up and customer reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments and reclassifications.
• Perform full‑cycle accounting for the Austrian entity, including fixed assets, intercompany accounting and bank reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities, such as accruals, provisions and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Provide accounting data and documentation for VAT and corporate income‑tax filings prepared by external advisors.
• Assist with payroll‑related accounting entries in coordination with the payroll provider and HR.
• Monitor AR and AP aging, follow up overdue balances and support intercompany settlements.
• Contribute to audit preparation by supplying required documentation to statutory auditors.
• Participate in ERP implementation, automation initiatives and process‑optimization projects.

Required profile

• Experience handling full‑cycle accounting for an entity operating under Austrian regulations.
• Familiarity with VAT (Umsatzsteuer) and corporate income‑tax (Körperschaftsteuer) documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with finance, HR and IT teams in a hybrid environment.
