Senior Security & QA Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Security & QA Engineer to ensure the security, compliance and reliability of the MCP Server Registry. The role involves validating authentication, protecting credentials, enforcing governance policies and delivering end‑to‑end quality for registry operations. You can work remotely from anywhere in Latvia or join the team at our Riga office.

Key responsibilities

• Validate authentication enforcement and detect credential exposure risks across the registry.
• Design and execute functional tests for CRUD operations and validation rules.
• Build and maintain automated test suites using Python and pytest.
• Enforce lifecycle constraint testing, e.g., prevent deletion of active MCPs.
• Audit AWS CloudTrail logs to verify compliance and traceability of registry actions.
• Assess registry and API endpoints for security vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure governance policies are applied throughout the registry lifecycle.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in security testing or QA engineering.
• Experience testing registry or API security, including AWS authentication flows.
• Proficiency in Python test automation with pytest.
• Knowledge of lifecycle‑constraint testing and functional test design for CRUD operations.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
