Security Architect

About the role

You will join the Security Engineering team within IT Security, responsible for Security Architecture, Application Security, and the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) across If. The team collaborates with Enterprise Architecture, development and platform teams, the AI Centre of Excellence and various business areas to embed security early in technology decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and support teams across If on security architecture and secure solution design.
• Help the organization leverage AI and emerging technologies securely through advisory work, risk assessments and architecture guidance.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, platform teams, risk and privacy specialists, and business stakeholders to translate security requirements into practical recommendations.
• Develop and maintain security principles, guidelines and frameworks for AI, cloud, software development, application security and software supply‑chain security.

Required profile

• Curious, collaborative and motivated to understand new technologies and solve complex challenges.
• Experience or strong interest in AI Security, Cloud Security, Application Security, DevSecOps or Software Supply‑Chain Security.
• Ability to bridge security, technology and business, communicating complex topics clearly.
• Comfortable challenging established ways of working and influencing stakeholders.
