Infrastructure Engineer – Data & AI Platforms

About the role

Accenture is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, deploy and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure for Data and AI platforms across cloud and on‑premise environments. You will shape the technical foundation that supports compute, storage, networking, container platforms, automation and operational tooling for Fortune 500 clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain infrastructure for Data and AI platforms in cloud and on‑premise settings.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert, defining platform foundations, standards and technical approaches.
• Deploy and support secure, scalable, and reliable platform components and shared services.
• Automate provisioning, configuration and lifecycle management using Infrastructure‑as‑Code and scripting.
• Support container‑based environments, including Kubernetes and similar orchestration technologies.
• Manage and optimise compute, storage, networking, access controls and system connectivity.
• Monitor infrastructure health, performance, capacity and availability, and assist with issue resolution.
• Contribute to platform modernization and operational excellence across client engagements.
• Collaborate with delivery teams and stakeholders to translate business and technical needs into infrastructure solutions.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, cloud or solution engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Strong understanding of on‑premise and hybrid environments.
• Proficiency in Linux/UNIX or Windows Server administration.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies.
• Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code and automation practices.
• Familiarity with modern automation, configuration management and CI/CD tooling.
• Good knowledge of networking, storage, security and system integration.
