Security Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Security Consultant to join our Swisscom IT service partner team in Riga. You will provide security consulting and coaching across the Swisscom IT organization, helping application and platform teams improve their security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with engineering and application teams to enhance security in cloud‑native environments.
• Conduct threat‑modeling workshops and review security architectures.
• Support secure design, implementation, and CI/CD integration.
• Assist the Software Development Center (SDC) with its Information Security Management System (ISMS) and related compliance activities.
• Collaborate with risk managers and senior stakeholders on risk assessments, audits, and documentation.
• Recommend and implement cloud‑native security controls, including Kubernetes hardening and container governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security consulting or advisory roles.
• Ability to work closely with engineering teams and senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of risk management and compliance processes.
