Middle+/Senior Java Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Middle+/Senior Java Backend Developer to join our IT department. You will work on a high‑load application, delivering data‑driven solutions that empower our clients and support a collaborative, growth‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full development lifecycle from concept to production rollout.
• Design, develop, and maintain the backend of a high‑load system.
• Create and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external services.
• Write efficient SQL queries, manage migrations, and work with both relational and non‑relational databases.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and ensure code complies with internal standards.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and other cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years of commercial Java development experience.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and web application fundamentals (Apache Tomcat).
• Experience with Spring Boot ecosystem (MVC, Security, Data) and building RESTful APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with Kafka in high‑load environments.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Solid testing skills using JUnit, Mockito or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.

What we offer

• Annual salary €51,000‑€69,000 gross.
