Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our AI team. You will design, build, and operate end‑to‑end ML pipelines, integrate large language models into business processes, and help shape the future of AI‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Automate and monitor model training, evaluation, deployment and retraining cycles.
• Build and maintain scalable ML infrastructure and full‑cycle pipelines.
• Integrate LLMs and other AI tools into BTA business processes.
• Apply prompt engineering and fine‑tuning techniques to customize models.
• Leverage Azure AI services and cloud solutions for AI/ML deployments.
• Implement version control, CI/CD, and Git best practices.
• Develop infrastructure using containers, orchestration, and analytics engineering tools.
• Track model performance, detect drift, and define retraining strategies.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to translate requirements into practical solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in developing ML solutions and MLOps.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Solid understanding of Git and CI/CD principles.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure AI services and cloud environments.
• Good grasp of the full ML model lifecycle.
• Analytical mindset, problem‑solving ability and independent decision‑making.
• Excellent Latvian and good English communication skills.
• Higher education in IT or a related field.
