DevOps Engineer – Engineering Core Platform

About the role

Join Luminor’s Engineering Core Platform department as a DevOps Engineer. You will be responsible for the reliability, security, and operational excellence of the infrastructure that powers critical banking services. The role blends cloud architecture, automation, and observability to deliver resilient, scalable platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Manage cloud networking, security, monitoring, backup, and disaster‑recovery capabilities to ensure compliance and reliability.
• Develop reusable Terraform and Terragrunt modules for consistent multi‑environment deployments.
• Administer and optimize Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments, driving automation and efficiency.
• Operate and enhance monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions, creating actionable dashboards.
• Support incident response, troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and post‑incident reviews.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in DevOps, platform operations, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS services (EC2, VPC, subnets, IAM, load balancing, etc.).
• Extensive experience with Terraform and Terragrunt for multi‑environment IaC.
• Experience with configuration‑management tools (Chef preferred; Ansible, Puppet, or SaltStack acceptable).
• Deep knowledge of Linux administration, especially Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
