Senior QA Automation Engineer – Mobile App

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead the automation of Citadele’s mobile banking application. You will own the Maestro framework, mentor junior engineers and introduce AI‑enhanced testing practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Maestro mobile test automation framework for iOS and Android.
• Increase regression automation coverage and ensure test stability across releases.
• Mentor newer automation colleagues, conduct code reviews and support pair programming.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and optimise test execution.
• Apply AI‑supported testing techniques such as test generation and automated review.
• Perform API‑level testing of the mobile app’s backend services.
• Provide manual testing support during release peaks, working as a unified team.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in test automation, including mobile (Maestro, Appium or similar).
• Strong programming/scripting skills (Java, Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript) and familiarity with Git and build tools.
• Hands‑on API testing experience (Postman, RestAssured, Charles).
• Proven ability to design automation frameworks and strategies.
• Good understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and stable test design.
• Experience mentoring or leading junior QA engineers.
• Willingness to support manual testing when required.
• Fluent English for a Baltic‑wide work environment.
