Transport Operations Specialist – Driver Resource Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Transport Operations Specialist who will manage the full employment cycle of international truck drivers. You will ensure that every driver is fully documented, legally compliant, and ready to start a trip.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the complete documentation process for foreign drivers, including work and residence permits, health checks, and professional qualification certificates (code 95).
• Coordinate daily with state authorities such as the Police, health institutions, the State Employment Agency, and the Transport Directorate.
• Register drivers and prepare all vehicle‑related paperwork.
• Maintain precise records and control deadlines for dozens of parallel cases.
• Communicate regularly with drivers, HR, legal, and operational teams.

Required profile

• Fluent in Latvian, English and Russian; all three languages are used daily.
• Strong organisational skills, self‑discipline and the ability to plan your own workload.
• High sense of responsibility and accuracy – missed deadlines have real consequences.
• Good computer literacy, especially MS Office and web‑based tools.
• Experience working with government agencies is a plus.
• Motivation to learn; training will be provided.
