Purchaser (Spare Parts Buyer)

About the role

Airline Support Baltic is looking for a Purchaser (Spare Parts Buyer) to join our team. This is a great opportunity for aspiring professionals interested in aviation to join a respected aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul company. The purchaser will be working for our Engine Repair Shop.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify prospective suppliers in the aviation market
• Purchase aircraft components and spare parts, as well as arrange tool procurement or rental
• Analyze spare parts documentation to ensure compliance and traceability
• Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, availability, reliability, and service support
• Prepare RFQs, proposals, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions with suppliers
• Prepare and issue purchase orders
• Arrange logistics and transportation of materials
• Ensure timely deliveries and collaborate with internal teams to meet deadlines
• Monitor and control open orders and delivery status
• Input, extract, and interpret data in internal systems / ERP tools
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and aviation regulations

Required profile

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain (aviation experience is an advantage)
• Understanding of aircraft parts and documentation (e.g., EASA Form 1 is a plus)
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Good analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Good knowledge of Excel and data systems
