About the role
Allnex is seeking a Sustainability Manager to lead and accelerate sustainability initiatives across its global operations. The role will support the company’s 2030 and 2050 climate commitments, ensuring compliance with regulations such as CSRD while driving decarbonisation, circularity and sustainable product development.
Key responsibilities
- Implement the allnex Sustainability Program across the global network, focusing on climate, circularity and sustainable product initiatives.
- Track, maintain and improve the Scope 1 and Scope 2 decarbonisation roadmap to meet 2030 emissions‑reduction targets and support the 2050 climate‑neutral ambition.
- Maintain the global greenhouse‑gas inventory and calculation methodologies for Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 emissions in line with GHG Protocol and evolving regulations.
- Develop business cases for sustainability investments, including decarbonisation projects, energy‑efficiency measures, renewable‑energy programmes, waste‑reduction and water‑management initiatives.
- Manage and enhance the global ISCC PLUS Mass Balance Program, ensuring certification compliance, audit readiness and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, R&D, Commercial and Leadership teams to advance sustainable raw‑material development and product commercialization.
Required profile
- Proven experience in sustainability management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of climate‑related regulations (e.g., CSRD) and sustainability frameworks.
- Ability to work collaboratively across diverse functional teams on a global scale.
- Analytical mindset with experience in tracking and reporting emissions data.
Required skills
- GHG Protocol methodology for Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 accounting.
- ISCC PLUS Mass Balance certification and compliance.
- Decarbonisation roadmap development and implementation.
- Renewable‑energy programme planning and execution.
- Waste‑reduction and water‑management project experience.
