FSC Certification Expert & Auditor

About the role

We are looking for an FSC Certification Expert and Auditor to design, implement and maintain our internal certification processes. The role will act as the architect of our procedures and mentor the audit team, ensuring technical correctness and uniformity across all certifications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain internal procedures in line with FSC‑STD‑20‑001 and ISO/IEC 17065.
• Provide expert consulting on complex FSC standards (e.g., FSC‑STD‑40‑004) for auditors and clients.
• Lead internal training sessions for auditors and integrate updates to FSC standards.
• Prepare documentation for ASI audits and support scope expansion of accreditation.
• Conduct technical audits of auditors’ work to minimise risks during external inspections.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in a certification body or forestry/environmental audit.
• Deep knowledge of the FSC regulatory framework (STD‑20‑001, STD‑40‑004, STD‑20‑006).
• Understanding of ISO/IEC 17065 requirements for product certification bodies.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret standards and build internal processes.
• Fluent professional English for working with official FSC documents and ASI communication.
