Site Reliability Engineer (DevOps)

About the role

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer with strong DevOps expertise to join Ubiquiti’s engineering team in Riga. You will help design, automate and operate our cloud‑native services on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance for millions of devices worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and administer AWS services such as ECS, IAM, RDS, Lambda and API Gateway.
• Identify, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and logging tools.
• Write modular Terraform code to provision and update infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineers to deploy and support applications throughout the development lifecycle.
• Mentor teammates on DevOps best practices and participate in on‑call production support.
• Prioritize and execute backlog items of varying urgency.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience designing and deploying AWS infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Solid understanding of DevOps and CI principles.
• Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Programming/scripting skills in Python, Node.js or Bash.
• Ability to triage incidents and follow security best practices.
• Fluent in English and Latvian.
