Senior Full Stack Developer – Contract

About the role

Kisi is looking for a highly motivated Senior Full Stack Developer to join its product team on a contract basis. You will help expand an innovative portfolio that connects people and spaces through cloud‑based video intercoms, wireless locks, and third‑party access control systems.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and engineering managers to align development with business objectives.
• Architect, design, and implement efficient, scalable, and responsive web applications using modern frameworks.
• Monitor performance metrics, identify improvement areas, and apply web performance best practices.
• Address bugs and performance issues through automated unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Proactively manage security vulnerabilities, apply updates, and maintain security documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and interns, conduct code reviews, and provide guidance on complex tasks.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and project‑management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging trends and best practices.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Ruby.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience working with relational database systems.
