Senior BCBS239 Expert

About the role

Swedbank is looking for a Senior BCBS239 Expert to guide the bank through complex regulatory expectations on risk data aggregation and reporting. You will act as the subject‑matter authority, partnering with senior stakeholders to build robust data and reporting capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the BCBS239 SME, advising on regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Assess current capabilities, identify compliance gaps, and develop remediation roadmaps.
• Lead and facilitate workshops with business and technology teams.
• Prepare and present materials for steering committees, management forums, and regulator meetings.
• Design and deliver training sessions in collaboration with the Swedbank RDARR competence centre.
• Provide ongoing guidance to the Program Lead and implementation teams.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in BCBS239, risk data aggregation and risk reporting.
• Proven experience supporting large‑scale regulatory transformation programmes.
• Experience working with regulators such as the ECB or the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority.
• Strong facilitation skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, communication and presentation abilities.
• Professional proficiency in English.
