Senior Accountant – Full Cycle Accounting (Riga)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to own the full‑cycle accounting process for a portfolio of local and international clients. You will work within a supportive international team, enjoy autonomy in your daily tasks, and have the chance to mentor junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting cycle, including bookkeeping, VAT, corporate income tax, payroll, and statistical reporting in line with Latvian legislation.
• Prepare annual financial statements and tax reports for diverse clients.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to junior team members.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of client deliverables while maintaining high quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven full‑cycle accounting experience at a senior level.
• Strong knowledge of Latvian accounting and tax regulations.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Latvian.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting software/systems.
