SAP Cloud Platform Developer

About the role

EPAM is looking for a motivated SAP Cloud Platform Developer to join its engineering team. You will work on international projects, applying modern cloud technologies to help customers innovate and grow.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and specify business requirements.
• Design, implement and test solutions using SAP programming models and processes.
• Collaborate with development teams and product managers.
• Mentor junior engineers on design, coding practices and test‑driven development.
• Promote best practices such as Cloud‑Native Development and Live Site First.
• Participate in Agile (Scrum) ceremonies and deliver high‑quality increments.

Required profile

• Proficiency in at least one language: Java, JavaScript, ABAP/4, Node.js or C++ with solid micro‑service knowledge.
• Experience with cloud platforms (SAP Cloud Platform, Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, Cloud Foundry).
• Understanding of SAP Cloud Platform services and SAP Fiori UX principles (plus).
• Hands‑on experience building scalable web or cloud services using technologies such as jQuery, REST or OData.
• DevOps mindset with ownership of the deployment lifecycle.
• Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
