QA Lead – Core Ledger Platform

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to own the quality assurance for our Core Ledger platform. The role focuses on defining test strategy, executing functional and regression tests, and ensuring that supplier‑delivered components meet our strict financial requirements before they go live.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the overall test strategy for the Core Ledger domain, covering functional, regression, integration and acceptance testing of supplier deliveries.
• Build and maintain detailed test plans, test cases and automated regression suites.
• Collaborate with the Head of Core Ledger IT, Core Ledger Specialists and the Product Manager to embed quality from requirements through delivery approval.
• Verify and regression‑test ledger transaction flows, balance calculations and reconciliation logic delivered by external suppliers.
• Drive a quality‑first mindset, ensuring testability is considered during requirements writing.
• Investigate, triage and coordinate defect resolution with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Define, track and report quality metrics such as test coverage, defect trends and delivery readiness.
• Participate in go/no‑go decisions for supplier deliveries based on defined quality criteria.
• Support internal teams with test results, known issues and overall quality status.
• Contribute to risk assessments for major platform changes or new product introductions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in QA roles, including leading test strategy and acceptance testing for complex systems.
• Proven experience verifying and accepting deliveries from external suppliers or vendors.
• Strong understanding of structuring test plans and test cases against detailed requirements.
• Experience in financial or payments environments is a plus.
