Platform Architect – Kubernetes Migration

About the role

We are looking for a Platform Architect to lead the migration of our on‑premises Kubernetes platform to the LightOps platform. The role supports subsea production and monitoring use cases across microservices, event‑driven processing, graph‑based modeling, time‑series ingestion, and frontend applications.

Key responsibilities

• Review target architecture and validate migration strategy.
• Identify risks and gaps in the current platform landscape.
• Refine resource requirements and define migration workstreams.
• Establish migration roadmap and sequencing.
• Familiarize with the current landscape to inform planning decisions.
• Interview and evaluate additional consultants to support delivery.
• Influence the composition of the delivery team and guide execution of specific workstreams.

Required profile

• 9+ years of experience in Kubernetes platform engineering.
• Proven expertise in Helm, GitOps, and ArgoCD deployment workflows.
• Strong background in Kubernetes security, service‑mesh implementations, and multi‑service platform migrations.
• Experience leading platform adoption programs and complex application migrations.
