About the role

As a Department Manager at H&M in Riga you will lead and inspire your team, fostering an inclusive culture and delivering an excellent shopping experience. You will be responsible for driving sales, maintaining visual standards and ensuring smooth store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team to provide outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
• Analyze sales results, identify improvement opportunities, set goals and develop action plans to optimise profitability and stock levels.
• Plan and organise staff schedules, ensuring seamless opening and closing routines.
• Recruit, onboard and develop new colleagues while promoting a collaborative and innovative internal culture.
• Monitor fashion trends, customer preferences and competitor activity to keep the store competitive.
• Represent the brand positively in all customer interactions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in store management and retail sales processes.
• Experience planning, analysing and reviewing sales results using customer‑focused tools and reports.
• Strong leadership, able to inspire, coach and develop a team in line with company values.
• Solution‑oriented mindset and ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
• Passion for fashion and commitment to delivering an excellent shopping experience.
• Analytical, flexible and results‑driven with ability to work with statistical data.
