- Improve incoming‑part inspection and measurement processes, selecting appropriate methods and tools.
- Evaluate non‑conformities and provide data‑driven recommendations (accept, hold, rework, reject, or use with deviation).
- Collaborate with quality and production teams on root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Support production staff in interpreting drawing requirements and finding safe, practical solutions.
- Communicate with external partners and suppliers to clarify technical questions and requirements.
Required profile

- Minimum 3 years of experience in metal‑part production, quality engineering or technical documentation evaluation.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical drawings, dimensions, geometric tolerances, joints and fits.
- Understanding of metal‑processing methods such as laser cutting, stamping, bending, drilling, threading, welding, grinding and assembly.
- Ability to work with 2D/3D CAD environments and perform basic inspections.
- Familiarity with measurement instruments and measurement techniques.
- Good Latvian and English language skills for an international environment.
- Analytical mindset, precision and systematic problem‑solving approach.
