Legal Counsel EMEA

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Legal Counsel to support our EMEA operations. You will provide legal advice across corporate, commercial, procurement and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance and protecting the company’s interests.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review standard contracts, including IT agreements, procurement contracts, NDAs and business agreements.
• Manage litigation cases and corporate housekeeping for the group’s EMEA entities.
• Conduct legal research and monitor legislative and regulatory developments.
• Assist in developing, updating and implementing internal legal and compliance policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Support creation and rollout of legal and compliance training materials for internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the improvement of contract templates to ensure consistency and alignment with current legal requirements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law (LL.M. or equivalent) from a recognised European university.
• Admission to a European Bar Association is preferred.
• 8‑10 years post‑qualification experience, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Experience with IT contracts, commercial contracts, corporate law, compliance and data‑protection (GDPR).
• Fluent in English and Latvian, written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• High attention to detail.
