Language Quality & AI Specialist – Remote (Europe)

About the role

Language Inspired is seeking a Language Quality & AI Specialist to lead quality processes across human‑ and AI‑assisted localization. Working remotely across Europe, you will partner with the Global Head of Language Talent to shape quality frameworks, drive continuous improvement and ensure linguistic excellence for international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate linguistic output using MQM, ISO 5060, ISO 17100, ISO 18587 and client‑specific scorecards.
• Run recurring AI quality evaluation cycles, calibrate evaluators, validate findings and track improvements.
• Design, maintain and optimise validation workflows across multiple TMS platforms and MT/AI engines.
• Apply risk‑based quality tiers, estimating effort based on content type, sensitivity and business impact.
• Assess health of translation memories, termbases and style guides and coordinate their maintenance.
• Handle client and internal feedback, delivering consistent, documented quality decisions.
• Monitor quality KPIs, identify trends and propose data‑driven enhancements.
• Prepare structured quality analyses and reports for linguists, internal teams and clients.

Required profile

• Fluent English with a degree in translation or linguistic studies.
• 3+ years of ownership of language quality in the localization industry.
• Deep understanding of i18n/l10n/g11n and multilingual content strategies.
• Proven experience with quality frameworks (MQM, ISO standards) and language asset management.
• Strong analytical, reporting and communication abilities.
