About the role

CE-TEST is looking for a Quality Manager to lead certification and inspection activities in compliance with Latvian and European standards. The successful candidate will coordinate accreditation processes with the Latvian National Accreditation Bureau (LATAK) and ensure continuous improvement of the quality management system.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with LVS EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012 for certification and LVS EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012 for inspection.
• Develop, update, and control documented procedures, including document, record, and objectivity management.
• Organise the handling of complaints, appeals and grievances.
• Prepare documentation for LATAK accreditation, scope extensions, or renewal (e.g., F.001, F.003.S1).
• Plan and conduct internal audits.
• Assess auditor and technical specialist competence and plan professional development.
• Collaborate with LATAK and relevant EU institutions.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of LVS EN ISO/IEC 17065 and LVS EN ISO/IEC 17020.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a certification, inspection or testing laboratory role.
• Experience with accreditation processes; prior work with LATAK is a plus.
• Higher education in a technical field, quality management, metrology or related area.
• Latvian language at C1 level and English at B2 level or higher.
• Russian language skills are advantageous.
