About the role

The department head will lead the Credit, Inventory and Long‑term Investment Accounting unit, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, analysis and reporting for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, organise and manage the daily work of the accounting department.
• Maintain records of inventories, long‑term investments, creditors and conduct debt analysis.
• Oversee the accounting of economic transactions and the preparation of supporting documents.
• Ensure proper execution and accounting of building and renovation contracts.
• Control the accuracy of financial records and correct tax calculations.
• Handle accounting for EU‑funded projects.
• Participate in the preparation of financial and other statutory reports.
• Contribute to the development of accounting policies and methodological documents.

Required profile

• Higher education (academic or professional) in accounting, tax, economics, finance, banking, insurance, management, administration, mathematics or statistics.
• State language proficiency at C‑level (first step) or education completed in the state language.
• At least three years of professional experience in economics, wholesale/retail, finance, banking, insurance, accounting, tax, management, administration, mathematics or statistics.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately with large volumes of data.
• Team‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience with the 1C accounting software (considered an advantage).
