Accountant for Netherlands business unit in Station Accounting Team

About the role

The Finance & Control department of Circle K Business Centre in Riga is looking for an Accountant to support the Netherlands business unit within the Station Accounting Team. You will join a global finance organization and contribute to the full accounting and reporting cycle for European operations.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to queries from site managers, business unit representatives and external partners.
• Check, prepare and process journal entries based on information received.
• Issue invoices to franchise stations and prepare payouts.
• Perform periodical closing procedures and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Handle audit requests and execute financial compliance controls.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or current student in one of these fields.
• Previous experience in accounting, finance or audit.
• Fluent English (verbal and written); Dutch proficiency preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
