Konditors/-e – Pastry Chef

About the role

Join IKEA Latvia as a Pastry Chef and help create delightful food experiences for our customers. You will work in a modern Swedish‑inspired kitchen, preparing high‑quality bakery and dessert items that enhance everyday life in our stores and homes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare pastry and confectionery products according to the agreed assortment and technical processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene requirements in the pastry department.

Required profile

• Previous experience with pastry and dessert production.
• Understanding of basic food safety principles.
• High level of precision, attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Willingness to work in a team and follow shift schedules (07:00‑17:00 weekdays, 07:00‑19:00 weekends).
• Knowledge of the state language.
