Junior FinTech Lawyer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior FinTech Lawyer to join our Legal & Compliance team in Riga. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, providing day‑to‑day legal support and gaining hands‑on experience in the fast‑moving FinTech sector.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal assistance to internal teams on commercial and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, and help negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
• Support the creation and maintenance of internal policies, procedures, and templates.
• Conduct legal research and monitor regulatory developments affecting FinTech.
• Assist with issues related to payment services, AML/CFT, GDPR, corporate law, and consumer protection.
• Identify legal risks and propose practical, business‑oriented solutions.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Product teams.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law (or final year of a Master’s programme).
• Up to 2 years of legal experience or relevant internships.
• Strong interest in FinTech, financial services, and regulatory law.
• Basic knowledge of commercial, corporate, and contract law.
• Professional proficiency in English (B2+ or higher).
