Junior Accountant – Group Accounting (Entry Level)

About the role

Mapon is looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join its Group Accounting team at the Riga headquarters. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience supporting daily finance operations across several Mapon entities in a truly international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily accounting for assigned Mapon group entities, including processing supplier and customer invoices.
• Register and process accounting documents in FITEK and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring data accuracy.
• Assist with bank transaction processing, statement reconciliation, and preparation of payments.
• Handle platform and corporate card payments, travel expenses, advance settlements, and other month‑end activities.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate eager to develop a career in accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn from experienced colleagues.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an international, multi‑entity environment.

Required skills

• Experience with or willingness to learn FITEK accounting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Basic understanding of invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and payment handling.
