Custody Services Specialist

About the role

As a Specialist in Custody Services you will join SEB Global Services in Riga, supporting the safeguarding and management of client assets. The role offers hands‑on experience with banking products and the full lifecycle of securities, while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Register corporate announcements and execute cash and securities payments.
• Monitor and handle settlement instructions, convert securities between markets, and analyse discrepancies.
• Perform transaction reconciliation and international tax reporting.
• Provide support to stakeholders and clients across borders.
• Identify and implement process improvements through automation, scripting and robotics.

Required profile

• Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Keen attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Analytical thinking and ability to manage complex information.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English; work involves foreign countries.
