About the role

The Infrastructure Security Manager is responsible for leading physical security, resilience and business continuity initiatives across the organization. The role ensures protection of people, assets, information and operations in line with Latvian, EU, NATO and contractual security requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve the facility security management system.
• Identify, assess and mitigate security risks, overseeing risk‑reduction measures and documentation.
• Plan and execute infrastructure risk self‑assessments, resilience measures and business continuity actions.
• Organise training and drills to sustain operational continuity and recovery capabilities.
• Manage physical security controls, access management, perimeter protection and technical security systems.
• Collaborate with senior management, internal units and state authorities.
• Promote security awareness among staff and provide regular resilience reports.
• Define guidelines for evaluating threats from remotely managed devices.
• Coordinate personnel security, access rights, security checks and protection of classified or sensitive information.
• Establish incident identification, reporting, escalation and response procedures, including notification to state bodies.
• Assess security and resilience risks linked to suppliers and external service providers.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in facility or industrial security, risk management or a related field.
• Proven experience in planning and implementing infrastructure security, resilience and business continuity measures.
• Experience working with governmental institutions and familiarity with Latvian, EU and NATO security regulations.
• Higher education in security, risk management, law, engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent written and spoken Latvian and English.
• High sense of responsibility, integrity and discretion, with the ability to make independent decisions and coordinate cross‑functional collaboration.
