Manager – Strategy & Execution (Commercial & Financial Due Diligence)

About the role

EY-Parthenon is looking for a motivated Manager to lead Commercial Due Diligence, Financial Due Diligence and Strategy projects. You will help clients evaluate market opportunities, competitive dynamics and financial health to drive informed investment and growth decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead commercial and financial due‑diligence engagements, ensuring alignment with client objectives and best‑practice standards.
• Conduct in‑depth market research, competitor assessments, customer and product analysis, and trend forecasting.
• Analyse financial statements, cash‑flows and operational metrics to assess target company health and risks.
• Collaborate with clients to define strategic aims and design customised execution plans.
• Work with cross‑functional experts (tax, legal, operational) to gather data for thorough due‑diligence.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations that highlight strategic insights and actionable steps.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through client interactions, proposals and industry events.
• Mentor junior team members and promote innovative problem‑solving.
• Leverage EY’s internal AI‑powered tools and data platforms to enhance analysis efficiency.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transaction advisory, management consulting, M&A, investment banking or private equity.
• Experience in a Big Four or management‑consulting firm is preferred.
• Advanced understanding of accounting and financial statements.
• Strong business administration knowledge and analytical mindset.
• Fluent in Latvian and English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience using AI‑powered data platforms (EY internal tools).
