Head of Product Marketing – GoBTC Pay

About the role

As the GTM Lead for GoBTC Pay, you will own the go‑to‑market strategy for a brand‑new Bitcoin payment product, managing both the merchant (supply) and payer (demand) sides of a two‑sided market. You will create the launch playbook and execute it market by market alongside regional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the category narrative for Bitcoin payments, shaping why merchants should accept BTC and why customers would choose to pay with it.
• Build merchant and payer propositions, segment messaging, and end‑to‑end sales enablement.
• Develop and run the merchant acquisition pipeline, co‑marketing with live merchants, and turn early adopters into reference cases.
• Partner with institutional partners (banks, wallets) on joint marketing and coordinate with BD teams.
• Define metrics, reporting, and post‑launch analysis to feed learnings into subsequent cycles.

Required profile

• 5+ years in B2B or B2B2C product marketing / GTM within payments, fintech infrastructure or SaaS.
• Proven experience launching new products into multiple markets and building sales enablement used by field teams.
• Ability to operate as the sole marketing function for a pre‑revenue product, creating all assets from scratch.
• Intellectually honest about demand, willing to report segments that do not convert.
• Fluent English with excellent business writing.

Required skills

• Strong sales‑enablement craft (deck creation, case‑study writing).
• Understanding of merchant economics: settlement, chargebacks, checkout conversion, cost of acceptance.
