General Ledger Accountant – Latvia

About the role

Join HoSt Group Latvia as a General Ledger Accountant and play a key part in supporting the financial health of an international renewable energy leader. You will manage core accounting processes, ensure accurate bookkeeping, and contribute to both local and group‑wide reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage specific accounting processes for HoSt Group’s main Latvian entity.
• Handle full‑cycle bookkeeping for two smaller Latvian group companies.
• Prepare and submit financial reports to local authorities and to the HoSt Group at an international level.
• Support general administrative activities within the Riga office.

Required profile

• Degree or relevant education in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Good knowledge and practical experience with Latvian financial bookkeeping and tax regulations.
• Experience in an international environment is a plus, especially in construction or energy technology.
• Fluent in both Latvian and English.
• Strong digital aptitude and a high sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a small team.
