Deputy Chief Operating Officer – Aviation Operations

About the role

Airline Support Baltic is seeking a results‑driven Deputy Chief Operating Officer to support the COO in overseeing daily aviation operations and ensuring regulatory compliance. This senior leadership position will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency and safety across maintenance, engineering, planning and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the COO in managing day‑to‑day operational activities.
• Ensure full compliance with EASA Part‑145 and Part‑M regulations.
• Oversee operational planning, resource allocation and performance monitoring.
• Lead process‑improvement and cost‑efficiency initiatives.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Maintenance, Engineering, Planning, Logistics).
• Mentor operational staff and promote a strong safety culture.
• Monitor KPIs, implement corrective actions and support strategic projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in aviation operations (MRO, airline or CAMO environment).
• Strong knowledge of EASA Part‑145 / Part‑M regulations.
• Previous senior management or leadership experience.
• Excellent organisational and decision‑making abilities.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Degree in Aviation, Engineering, Business Management or related field.
