About the role

Storent, a technical rental company operating across the Baltics, Scandinavia and the USA, is looking for a Debtor Controller to manage the monitoring of company debtors, evaluate client creditworthiness and communicate with clients regarding payment matters.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and regularly update new and existing client information in the database.
• Assess client credit applications and make decisions according to the company’s credit policy.
• Conduct daily debt collection activities by phone and written communication, recording all actions in the system.
• Provide clients with information on invoices, payments and outstanding balances, and prepare reconciliation reports.
• Enter incoming payments into the accounting software and prepare related documentation for insolvency and collection cases.
• Compile monthly and ad‑hoc reports for management.

Required profile

• Previous experience in debtor control, accounting or credit assessment.
• Goal‑oriented personality with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong decision‑making skills and ability to represent company interests in complex situations.
• Good command of Latvian; additional language skills are a plus.
• Proficient computer skills.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy (e.g., MS Office, accounting software).
