Credit Manager

About the role

As the Credit Manager you will shape and safeguard Bondora's credit risk performance in Denmark, owning underwriting strategy, portfolio monitoring and responsible‑lending outcomes end‑to‑end while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of the lending product, underwriting flow and market to identify performance issues, fraud patterns and growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor application funnel, acceptance rates, limit utilisation, default and recovery metrics, and explain deviations.
• Use cash‑flow and lifetime‑value models to assess loan profitability and guide credit decisions, overseeing third‑party data usage.
• Translate country goals into a short‑term roadmap, prioritising initiatives by impact, effort and risk.
• Configure and release approved changes in Taktile, maintaining change logs and policy documentation.
• Support scorecard and model development, conduct multivariate analysis and challenge model outputs.
• Design and evaluate controlled experiments and A/B tests, measuring intended and adverse effects.
• Ensure all credit policies and outcomes comply with responsible‑lending regulations and internal risk appetite.

Required profile

• Strong practical knowledge of consumer credit risk management and underwriting strategies.
• Ability to connect portfolio performance, unit economics and operational evidence to clear decisions.
• Hands‑on experience with decision‑engine rules, policy parameters and controlled experiments.
• Clear written and verbal communication, sound judgement under uncertainty and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
