Credit Analyst – Banking & Credit Risk

About the role

Join Luminor Group as a Credit Analyst and become a key player in assessing credit risk for our Pan‑Baltic client portfolio. You will work closely with relationship managers and credit committees to deliver high‑quality analysis and support financing decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent, high‑quality credit analysis on assigned customers and maintain credit quality standards.
• Prepare and review credit applications, ensuring comprehensive risk assessment and compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.
• Monitor financial covenants, identify early‑warning signals, and propose alternative solutions to avoid surprises.
• Collect and evaluate industry and customer information, acting as a competence centre for selected sectors.
• Participate in credit committees, customer meetings, and support structuring of financing solutions.

Required profile

• Experience analysing real‑estate projects or market‑related credit files.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, credit products and relevant accounting standards (IFRS, local).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Latvian and English.
• Professional ethics, business acumen and a proactive, flexible attitude.
