Chief Accountant

About the role

The Finance Department is seeking a Chief Accountant to lead the division and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role involves overseeing statutory, tax, and corporate reporting while maintaining compliance with company policies and ethics.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the division’s daily operations and participate in discussion and working groups such as LBMT.
• Prepare, verify, and update financial paperwork, management accounting, and statutory tax reports.
• Handle corporate reporting, statistical reporting, and company record maintenance.
• Process incoming invoices, manage payroll accounting, and maintain the fixed‑asset register with depreciation.
• Oversee business travel and expense reimbursements and ensure confidentiality and health‑and‑safety compliance.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in accounting, either within the company or an equivalent organization (minimum 2 years).
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality work and a solid understanding of the business.
• Willingness to take on additional tasks as directed by superiors.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
