Chef de Partie – 5‑Star Hotel Kitchen

About the role

The Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to lead a kitchen station in its iconic 5‑star culinary environment. You will work alongside top chefs, delivering high‑quality dishes while maintaining the hotel’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of an assigned kitchen station, overseeing daily preparation, organization, and service execution.
• Prepare, cook, and plate dishes to meet 5‑star quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
• Guide and mentor Commis Chefs, Demi Chefs, and Stewards, fostering a collaborative learning atmosphere.
• Ensure strict adherence to HACCP, food safety, cleanliness, and portion‑control guidelines.

Required profile

• Completed culinary training or equivalent education.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a comparable hospitality or upscale restaurant role.
• Strong commitment to hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Self‑starting, responsible attitude with a high sense of ownership.
• Open, engaging personality with excellent attention to detail.
• Good command of English; Latvian language is an advantage.
• Eligibility to work in the EU (EU passport or valid Latvian work visa).
