Accountant – Business Unit Germany (Riga)

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to support the Business Unit Germany within Circle K’s European operations. Based in our Finance & Control department in Riga, you will join a fast‑growing team that handles the full accounting and reporting cycle for the region.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile and process gift‑card transactions.
• Manage store invoice interfaces and trade accounts payable.
• Respond to queries from site managers, business‑unit representatives and external partners.
• Provide answers to internal units regarding processed financial records.
• Execute month‑end closing procedures, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
• Participate in process‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of accounting experience.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or final‑year student in a related field.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Strong analytical, organized and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Self‑motivated team player with the ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems – preferably SAP or JDE.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
