About the role
An aviation company based in Skulte is looking for an accountant. The role covers import/export transactions, tax control and the preparation of financial statements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage import/export transactions and tax control
- Calculate and pay taxes, and prepare VAT submissions
- Prepare yearly statements and handle monthly, quarterly and yearly closings
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Maintain company financial data and ensure timely bank payments
Required profile
- Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Good knowledge of Latvian, English and Russian
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting
- Ability to meet deadlines, analytical mind, keen eye for detail and strong sense of responsibility
Required skills
- Excellent Excel skills
- Tax calculations and VAT submissions
