Technical Lead – Document Management & Workflow Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Lead to drive the development of our Document Management & Workflow Systems within Luminor’s IT division. You will lead a pan‑Baltic team to deliver end‑to‑end document lifecycle capabilities – generation, capture, archiving and signing – in an agile, cloud‑native environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in designing, developing and implementing banking and fintech solutions.
• Ensure architectural best practices, security, scalability and performance of the platform.
• Lead code reviews, technical discussions and mentoring for engineering teams.
• Drive automation, CI/CD pipelines and cloud‑native adoption using Kubernetes, Terraform and ArgoCD.
• Establish Communities of Practice in Software Engineering, QA, DevOps and Cloud.

Required profile

• Strong background in banking or fintech software development and architecture.
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English.
• Understanding of financial regulations affecting technology solutions.

• Java 21+ and Spring Boot 3+
• Apache Kafka, MS Graph API
• AWS services (EKS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB)
• Kubernetes, Istio service mesh, Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, GitLab CI/CD
• Python, JavaScript, microservices, API development, event‑driven architecture
• SharePoint Online (plus) experience
