Senior Technical Consultant

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Senior Technical Consultant with deep hands‑on expertise in Microsoft platforms. You will split your time between client‑facing activities—running workshops, shaping solution blueprints, and validating technical approaches—and internal delivery work that ensures architectural consistency across Microsoft programs.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Delivery Management to engage prospects throughout the sales lifecycle, from initial meetings to deal closure.
• Scope, author, and review proposals, statements of work, and effort estimates for complex Microsoft engagements.
• Design Azure‑based solutions covering application modernization, data platforms, AI/ML, and Copilot/Fabric workloads.
• Analyze client application and data estates, create transformation roadmaps, and produce detailed architecture documentation.
• Participate in solution design reviews, provide technical oversight, and help resolve implementation challenges.
• Share expertise with EPAM engineers, contribute to internal knowledge bases, and stay current on Microsoft platform innovations.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering large‑scale, multi‑workload Microsoft implementations.
• Strong client‑facing consulting background with the ability to lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Experience supporting presales activities, including scoping, proposal writing, and deal closure.
• Solid understanding of application stacks (REST, containers, serverless) and data/AI stacks (relational, non‑relational, GenAI, ML).
• Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and DevOps tooling (IaC, CI/CD, automated deployment).
