Senior QA Automation Engineer – API & System Integration

About the role

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead the creation of a gold‑standard automation framework for system integrations and APIs. The role is based in Latvia with the flexibility to work remotely or from our Riga office.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a robust QA automation framework for system integrations and APIs.
• Collaborate with the Head of Integrations to define and promote best practices.
• Mentor existing QA and AQA teams, sharing expertise and modern QA methodologies.
• Build automation solutions from scratch and train team members on contemporary QA concepts.
• Perform manual testing when needed to ensure full coverage.
• Introduce AI technologies to enhance automation efficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience as a Lead QA Automation Engineer, preferably in system integrations and API testing.
• Proficiency with Playwright, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with AI‑native ways of working and AI‑driven QA solutions.
• Strong knowledge of automation frameworks, tools and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English.
• Background in manual testing is a plus.
