Data Solution & AI Architect (Remote – Latvia)

About the role

We are looking for an innovative Data Solution Architect / AI Architect to join our growing team. You will design and implement data‑mesh architectures and AI solutions on AWS, collaborating closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and AI labs. The role is fully remote within Latvia, with optional access to our Riga office.

Key responsibilities

• Create and publish data‑mesh architectures that meet business needs.
• Define strategies for selecting machine‑learning tools, models, and training datasets.
• Work with AI labs, infrastructure, and platform teams to deliver ML services using AWS SageMaker.
• Analyse existing AWS account configurations for data scientists and MLEs, partnering with DevOps experts.
• Assess current AI pipelines and integrate them with other services.
• Design and build infrastructure that supports experimentation and deployment of AI systems.
• Collaborate with AI Labs to improve ML workflows and software development standards.

Required profile

• Hands‑on production experience as a Data Architect or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of AWS ML services, especially SageMaker.
• Qualifications in DevOps, Cloud Operations, or ML engineering.
• Experience with enterprise‑scale ML and LLM solutions.

Required skills

• AWS (including SageMaker) administration and permission management.
• Docker containerisation.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code with Terraform.
• CI/CD pipelines using Atlassian Bamboo.
• Model management tools such as MLflow.
• Understanding of MLOps practices.
