Production Planner

About the role

Aerones is a global leader in robotic solutions for wind turbine inspection, maintenance and repair. The company is seeking a Production Planner to translate strategic capacity requirements into executable production orders and to support manufacturing operations across its ERP system.

Key responsibilities

• Translate Master Plan strategic capacity requirements into production orders, MRO schedules and manufacturing operations using the Monitor/NetSuite ERP system.
• Create and maintain production orders for robotic set assembly, repairs, field materials, R&D prototypes and equipment upgrades.
• Support capacity tracking for assembly, metalwork and quality‑control resources against demand.
• Coordinate material supply, including repair parts and spare‑parts inventory, together with the Supply Chain team.
• Monitor and flag production bottlenecks, capacity constraints and supply risks.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day scheduling and priorities with Production, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Maintenance, R&D and Field Operations teams.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment (machinery, equipment or similar capital equipment) or a relevant degree with strong analytical/technical background.
• Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM), work orders, routing and assembly line balancing concepts.
• Understanding of capacity modelling, constraint identification and Lean Manufacturing principles (flow, takt time, bottleneck theory).
• Willingness to learn rough‑cut capacity planning (RCCP) and to stay organized under shifting daily plans.

Required skills

• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems (Monitor G5 or equivalent).
• Ability to create and manage production orders, inventory transactions and stock movements.
• Capacity modelling and constraint identification.
• Lean Manufacturing concepts such as flow, takt time and bottleneck theory.
• Data extraction and basic reporting within an ERP environment.
