Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for delivering data‑driven insights, analytics, and performance reporting that improves supplier performance and procurement efficiency to achieve our supply chain objectives. Working closely with Procurement, Merchandising, and Data & Analytics teams, the role supports informed decision‑making through robust performance measurement, business analysis, and strategic sourcing support.

Key responsibilities

• Support supplier evaluations, RFP reviews, contract renewals and compliance, providing analytical support for strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Develop and maintain reporting routines, supplier scorecards and performance summaries for Quarterly Business Reviews and governance meetings.
• Partner with Global Data & Analytics/BI teams to create procurement dashboards, KPI reporting and analyse procurement data to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Monitor purchasing trends, supplier performance metrics and compliance, delivering recommendations to improve procurement performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal) to ensure alignment with business objectives and support change‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, strategic sourcing, category management or business analytics.
• Proven ability to work with large, complex data sets and generate actionable business insights.
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills to influence decision‑making.
• Experience supporting procurement or category management teams with hands‑on knowledge of procurement KPIs and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Logistics, Procurement, Economics or related field (preferred).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, complex formulas, data modelling).
• PowerBI or similar business intelligence tools.
• Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or Snowflake data/analytics platforms.
• ERP systems such as Oracle, JDE or SAP.
• Data cleansing, validation and analysis.
