Catering Quality Assurance Manager – Military Base (Latvia)

About the role

FEPS GmbH is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager to lead food safety and quality activities for its catering operation on a military base in Latvia. The role ensures compliance with NATO, NSPA, HACCP and ISO 22000 standards while supporting the broader construction and infrastructure services of the company.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the FEPS Quality Assurance system on site in line with NATO/NSPA requirements.
• Ensure full application of HACCP principles, ISO 22000 standards, and company SOPs.
• Oversee temperature control logs, food sampling, cleaning, pest control, audits, NCRs and training activities.
• Maintain inspection readiness and QA documentation within the Document Management System (DMS).
• Coordinate with the Corporate QA Director to schedule audits, inspections and evaluations.
• Analyze audit findings, collaborate with the catering manager to address deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and present regular QA status reports to senior management.
• Conduct daily QA briefings and communicate hygiene risks and corrective actions immediately.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within food service or catering operations.
• Experience with a military customer is beneficial.
• Valid training and qualifications in HACCP principles and a strong understanding of ISO 22000.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
• Passport from a NATO country and eligibility to work in the EU.
• Clean police record.
